I'm quoting you, but throwing this out as a general question: are all Ebay links forbidden, or is just links to auction listings? Banning the latter makes perfect sense to me, but the former wouldn't make any sense to me at all...

This topic came up before. I thought we almost had an agreement to allow ebay links of known vendors (like newegg) but then it became a question of how would the mod/admin know which were good or not. Then the subject kind of fizzled and we were back to "no auction sites period" again

Thanks. I understand forbidding links to auctions, which obviously have no stated price, but it doesn't make any sense to me to ban links to any "buy-it-now" listings (or at least those with multiple products available.) But as a forum rule, it's duly noted...
