Caveat: Monitors don't appear to be listed in the lengthy parade of items covered under the coupon, so they -might- be excluded. That said, the list of covered items is so long that I doubt the register person would notice -- unless they've been advised by management!

Unfortunately the website does not show how many colors this monitor can produce. I have a Samsung 204B and it also has 5ms response time. I am very happy with it, BUT others have said that they are concerned with the fact that it only produces up to 16.2 Million colors. Other LCD monitors (albeit most others with slower response times) can produce 16.7 Million colors.

Again, I love my monitor, but depending on what you use it for, you might really want to be sure it does 16.7 Million colors.

Please note that this monitor does have a height adjustment. It might not seem important to some of you, but it can be extremely annoying not to have one (my Samsung is the only one of the 3 LCD's I own to have a height adjustment, and I certainly miss it on the others).

I have the Acer 24" monitor (same panel as this one, I believe, both are 8-bit). I definitely use it for bedroom TV watching. I have a separate HTPC and use BeyondTV Link with the remote. A highly recommended setup.

I went and looked at it. It didn't "stand out" like the nec's do. But it's really hard to see how good the monitors at BB can be with a cloned 1024x768 dsub signal.

wow that is a hot deal. if i didnt have a 20wmgx2 i'd get it........ hell if someone would buy my 20wmgx2 i'd think about it.

EDIT:
ugh , after googling a bit its a TN panel. i suppose a lot of stores put 16.7 million colors anyway but the 160 degree viewing angle gives it away (on best buy link). the pmva ones seem to be 176-178 same with ips. I've had a 24" TN in the acer al2016wd for about a day. it was so horrible looking compared to the planar 20" 1600x1200 IPS panel I had before that i returned it.

22" is going to be a blown up 1050p panel. you're better off getting a 20" (like the NEC)

If you want full 1080p without chopping, you need a 1200p monitor which is hard to find under 23" (apple) or 24"
