Nice post. I saw this this in the Sunday ads. The batteries alone are more than that at Wal-Mart for 4 Ray-o-vac AA's. Also you get a pretty nice camera bag & dinky tri-pod. The battery charger included said it takes 10hrs. to charge 2AA's, or 14 hrs to charge 4AA's. This charger is inferior to the Ray-O-Vac quick charger I picked up at Best Buy when on sale for about $24. The quick charger will charge my 4 AA's in 40-45 minutes. They last a long time in my digital camera. But...... for $9.99 this starter kit is hot! I bought one today, thanks.🙂

Ho ho, CC is always slow about updating all of the necessary info on the web site when the price changes. That's why you sometimes see extra rebates, etc. Gives you a shot at a screaming deal if you shop early. At any rate, it says 9.99 now after in store pick up is selected.
