Was actually shopping for MP3 players (ordered a Zen Nano Plus 1GB) and saw this. This is the cheapest I've ever seen a flash drive go for. Under 5 bucks after MIR with free shipping from a reliable online store! Not very large, and I don't know the brand (ACP), but for the price it who cares?

Edit: Seems like there is a slight catch with the rebate. Not sure how much trouble it will be to register for that service and then cancel it?

It's not for the buy visa. That's a different $30 off. Anyone do this rebate before?

From the "rebate form", it appears, that you can not claim the cash back before the 1st month of "risk free trial" is over. That would mean shelling out an additional $12.99 monthly fee to get the rebate. Not a hot deal IMHO.

Yep! I did it a coupla months ago when the 512kb was free after the $30.00 rebate. The day after you sign up, they send a link to the rebate form. Fill the form and a week later you receive the rebate check. I had no problem with canceling the PrivacyGuard before the 30 day free trial. Everything worked well.

The page pretty clearly says that you can cancel before having to pay the monthly fee.

Edited the title. I might jump on this since Hippie had no problems with the rebate. In fact seems better and quicker than normal MIRs.

If you pay with Google Checkout, you get $10 off your purchase.

Oops. Buy.com is not one of the stores offering discount. Nevermind.

Looks like there is now a second rebate, for a net $6 in your pocket. Pay $30, get $30 + $6 = $36 back.
