Ok I did a search and did not find this posted (I saw Jokersmokers post about the R30 at CC but not the R50 at Fry's/Outpost)

Go to outpost to get the Polk R50 Speaker for only $99 each ($200/pair). These normally go for $600/pair at Circuit City.

Or you can go to Fry's to get the same deal and save little on shipping.

Polk sound great, I was lucky enough to get my RTi70s on sale for $358 for the pair at Frys, the R50s are good speakers for $200 a pair, heck I paid $200 just for my Polk center channel speaker CSi40 Regular price $400, If CC runs out check Frys they allways have polk on sale.

Picked up a pair at the City of Industry Fry's today.

I am not expecting much - these should be good for a crappy bedroom system or something.

Good price though!

Picked up a pair yesterday at Fry's Austin. I've had a pair of R30's that I turned into surrounds and am using this new pair as my main L and R speakers. Very happy. This is an incredible deal for some great middle end speakers. These are not high end speakers at all so don't go into it thinking you are going to get the best. They do make good speakers for those who aren't audiophiles.

The local Fry's still had them in stock (and for this awesome price) as of yesterday. They are excellent speakers, that's for sure.

Agreed. Polk is a nice mid-range speaker. I prefer higher-end stuff, but this quality is fine for the majority of peeps.

These low end Polks aren't that great IMO. You should at least opt for their RTis which are also on closeout with price reductions at the same level as this set.
