I remember downloading the demo back then. While single player was terrible, multiplayer was actually really good. It had Quake1-like physics and pretty cool weapons.

Actually, none of the ION Storm games were really as bad as they get blasted for, except maybe Dominion.

No, you downloand and play before the time expires. So, at 12/31 many of these games will no longer be free to play.


Oh, and I downloaded Daikatana, played 5 minutes and promptly deleted it. The graphics were atrocious for a game that came out in 2001.

I played though that game. It gets worse since you have to babysit 2 NPCs a bit later. Talk about a pain in the ass.
