I think this is an error. Staples takes 10% off the difference rather than off the matched price.

Unless there was some error on their part it should be $699 - $629 = $70 * 1.1 = $77 in savings.
So Staples charges you $699 - $77 = $622 + tax = $670ish

Then take off the $100 for rebates and coupons. = $570ish after rebates. Let me know if you get a different quote.
