i think its a pretty good camera, esp for that price....one of my good friends has it, and its quite a nice size, esp for the features. once you get used to the flip around lense deal, its pretty nice

Thanks. Got it other day, it is FANTASTIC. I picked up 8 Maha powerex 1800mh batteries with a MAHA c024f charger (both rated TOPS in industry) for 45 off ebay and a 5 in 1 reader from eaby (new) for 32 shipped. less then $300 for the whole kit and caboodle.

Didn't mean to thread crap, just figured the fuji is rated higher and can be had cheaper.

I went to Amazon and found the Finepix for $219. however I can not figure out how to get the 32mb upgrade. I actually placed the order and then cancelled it so I went through every step in the ordering process. Thanks!

It appears the deal is over. May have only ben good thru 7/31.
Good news it already comes with a 16mb card which is bigger then most come with, and a 32MB can be had for under $20 these days.

I got my CP2500 in from outpost, and so far its great. Its really small which is exactly what I wanted. Red-eye hasn't been as much of a problem as the reviews led me to think it would. Barrel distortion can be a bit noticable, but I think its an awesome camera. 16 meg card too, not the 8 meg like they say on the page
