Sorry, don't own one of those models. I have purchased a similar one manufactured from that company, and was pleased with it. 🙂
A few things to think about:
1. It's Newegg. Some folks aren't keen on their 8 dead pixels policy, but they're usually a pretty good company. Chances are you'll get a good product from them, or be able to deal fairly with them if you don't.
2. It's got a 5-egg rating with 30 people rating. Some folks say that the Egg doesn't post negative ratings, but 30 people saying it's good is usually a good sign.
3. While the manufacturer is a bit slow with rebates, imho, you are purchasing from Newegg, and they're great about rebates. I bought an oem drive from them once, that they offered with a mir, and when I got the drive from them, I noticed the rebate form said it needed the barcode.......and oem doesn't have the retail packaging, thus doesn't have the barcode! I called Newegg on the phone, and within 5 minutes had a refund posted to my credit card, in the amount of the mir. No questions asked, no problems. That's the type of customer service that keeps me coming back! 😀
I'd say go for it. That's an excellent after rebate price.
