OK Guys, be gentle this is my first post. I did a search and didn't see this one. I went to Sams Club in Baton Rouge last night to buy the 40gb drive for $79 as this was the best deal I could find on the spur of the moment. The 100gb wasn't even on display. The clerk told me they had the 100gb, 7200 rpm, ATA/100, for $129 and I decided what the heck, not hot but an OK buy. When he rang it up it was $97 and some change and with tax it came to $105.xx You have to go to the service desk to pick up the hard drives. I didn't check to see how much the 40gb drive was, but perhaps it is cheaper then the $79's it is marked.

Hot! I got this one last Christmas from Sam's for 129.00 after the hundred dollar rebate. 100 bucks for a hundred gigs, I haven't seen a deal like this anywhere.

I piced one up on Wednesday. There are some other great closeout deals at Sams now too! (American Tourister Laptop bag for $9.87!) As always, YMMV.

Last time I went to the local Sams (So California) they didn't have hard drives any more. You must be getting the last one(s).
