Hot or Cold? 18.1" LCD w/ TV tuner, $799

any other company make stuff like this ? I like to get a better lcd but hate that contrast/brightness problem
 
For the price, you're better off getting the Planar 18.1" LCD from Dell.com for a little bit less which has S-Video input and then just plug it into a VCR for TV or DVD or whatever. This monitor doesnt have a DVI input or a good Contrast while the Planar has both.
 
a TV-Tuner card costs much less than the price delta for a tv tuning LCD. The only advantage to the LCD is being able to run it wiht computer off and being able to do pictureinpicture with your computer display and the Tv-tuner
