This is a pretty good camera, especially for that price. Surely you are getting a USA model and it's not refurbished.
If I had the $, I'd buy it, but I already have a Canon G2

Another difference is the 3020 doesn't have sound in movie mode while the 3040 does.

In the process of getting the urls for this reply, I just went ahead and bought my second c-3020 for $189.99 from a reputable Ebay store call returnbuys, lol. they specialize in merchandise "returns" which they then test and accurately report the items condition in a star rating system. My first C-3020 arrived just as decribed, in perfect cosmetic condition and with all the manuals and accessories. I didnt elect to, but you can even buy extended warranties for the items through Kemper Insurance.
