Samsung P400 is a revolutionary designed mobile phone. The display can rotate from left to right 360 degrees. The display can be shown on the front, in order for the users to view the favorite photos easily. P400/P408 is a camera phone. Unlike other camera phone nowadays, it use CCD type camera which is commonly used in expensive digital camera. The display is made of TFD-LCD (128 x 160 pixels) which can produce similar brightness of colours as TFT while consume less power. IT supports 40 polyphonic sound, EMS, MMS sending and receving, with GPRS class 8 connection and WAP 1.2 browser. Good news for American readers, it is also a triband GSM phone supporting GSM 900 / 1900 / 1800 frequency.Diemension: 90.8 x 47.5 x 23mm / weight : 105 grams

Why would you want to rotate the camera?

Under heavy market research most Americans use their cellular telephones for voice services only. Unlike our European and Asian friends we as a population do not surf the web on our phones, we SMS at near microscopic levels comparitivly, and tend to buy more basic, often "free w/ plan" phones.

I bought a T300 w/ Camera, but after a month of the camera collecting dust, I sold it on ebay for about $70. Americans tend to buy single purpose devices. If we want a digital camera, we go out and buy a digital camera. I also think that Camera phones will never catch on b/c of poor quality and the hassle of sending the picture through the phone.

On the otherhand, I think the tablet PC is in a position where it could eventually replace the conventional notebook as we know it.

rotates the other way so you can leave it like that and see whos calling you before you decide to answer and scratch the hell out of it when its in your pocket with coins.

Good IDEA AHEY? I wouldn't like a screen to get all scratched up!

Just a gimmick and a first for mobile phones.....

Hot Hot

Nice, they just keep spitting phones out their asses like left and right.

what's up with all these phones looking so feminine these days? I wish they would bring back the Timeport (something similar in design, any flip-phone from Motorola) back to sprint.

Another note:

I HATE phones with an external aerial! Can't stand them. I'll only ever buy phones that have one internally.
