-= HOT!!! NEW Cordless Logitech Gamepad (PS2) RETAIL !!!=-

i started to post this yesterday but checked shipping before posting and just deleted it all... kl

$9 is just too high - even for tow controllers.

btw, has anyone had any first hand experience with the first generation controllers?

performance difference or just the batteries?

I use one (1st gen) almost every day. It's my primary controller. I just ordered a 2nd from compgeeks for $16 during a sale. The only thing I don't like about it is that the control pad (disc) is not as presice as Sony's 4 button design, so I have to pay extra attention for the few games that actually use it (like Space Channel 5). I use rechargable batteries and they last for a few days. I have a spare set always charged up so if they do die it's just a quick switch. Also, if you have girly hands you probably will not like this controller, as it is a little bigger and heavier than Sony's.

Damnit danmit damnit !@!@! I knew I should have order two of them yesterday!! Now the price is $35+shipping. 🙁 Gotta wait for a better deal...

I bought both the ps2 and the xbox controllers when they first came out and they were a great deal even at full price. Excellent balance and feel and the battery life is outstanding! I've got at least 60hours on the xbox and probably 40 on the PS2 and they're still going strong. Definitely highly recommended.
