Definately would not say hot. 10mb hub is a definate deal breaker. You can the newer version of those cards at BB or CC every month for free after rebate.

I picked up this package or an incredibly similar one a few years back at Circuit City. The hub is decent but only 10mb. I am still using the network cards and they outperform many new cheaper ones I have picked up. I would say it is a moderate deal. Good for someone who doesnt want to hassle with rebates or a lot of shopping.

Not bad! Bought it using the 10% off coupon that is floating around...saved $2...paid $2.95 for shipping...no tax...total was $20.94 shipped!

I'll use the hub to network up one of my relatives and the two 10/100 NICs are decent...Netgear makes pretty good stuff.

Thanks!

Huh just read the site and it has conflicting info...says two NICs and shows two NICs but under "Kit includes:" it says one NIC...

Guess we'll see what shows up. I will be returning this if it only has one...as they show two and mention two NICs.

Sweet...they just updated the site to clear up the confusion (which apparently only affects me :)) - comes with two NICs for sure.

Bump for a good deal...10MB hub may "suck" but believe me...I have plenty of friends/relatives that will be *just* fine with 10MB especially since they only need it for sharing an Internet connection.

Thanks for posting this!

10Mbps or not, it's just fine for my needs. Couldn't care less about the cards (i'll just toss 'em into the spares box with the rest ones i picked up when Dell was selling NICs for under $1), but the hub and cables are exactly what I've been looking for for the network at my best friend's apt. Thanks, mynameisalreadytaken!
