i bought the same one from Meijers or some place like that for $12 or so... nice unit!

AC / DC amps, volts, resistance etc

good to have around for those who tinker around the house, on PC's, car audio, etc.

I bought two of these locally last year. They go on sale off and on all of the time. They're really nice. I took one to work and compared it to my friend's Fluke and the voltages were just as accurate. Of course, the Fluke has lots of bells and whistles, but I only needed to test voltages. Good buy IMO.

I saw this in the sales flyer for B&M. I already own two that I bought at $3.99 and they are decent units. This is definitely HOT!

Picked up one of these Monday and works really well, very pleased.

They also have the regular car creeper (not just the flaming one) for $17, and is comparable to the Craftsman ones which are several x the price.

I don't see the car creeper online... the best I see is for $30. Did you get one in-store?

Edit: The sign was marked something different, like $22 or so, but rang up at $16.99

Harbor freight rocks. I have this multimeter, hot deal. If you havent ever been inside this place and walked arround, give it a whirl. I swear by the cheap "Pittsburgh" tools. Never let me down. Just stay away from the tools made in Taiwan.

I'm pretty sure the "Pittsburgh" tools are made in China...is that better than made in Taiwan?

Sweet I didn't even know there was one locally!

I have this same meter. I haven't tested its accuracy against any higher-priced ones, but for small tasks it works just fine. I think I paid $10 or $12 for mine, so $3 is a steal! These things are made in China, btw., in case anyone was curious.

5.95 handling charge on all orders... regardless of the size of the order. So, order 10 of them and it's still only 5.95. Shipping is free on orders over 50.

I dropped by last night (I'd never been there). I saw they have Pittsburgh torque wrenches for less than $26. They're all made in Taiwan. I don't get it.

They had two bins of "7-function multi-meters" with different part numbers. Both were marked $9.99. One of the bins was empty.

No under car creepers in the store at all. It was a lot smaller than I expected.
