That's the cheapest I've seen. The next closest is $130 for the OS, and you have to purchase some type of hardware on top of that. Too bad there always has to be commentary associated with a Microsoft deal though.

Anybody know of a good deal on the XP Pro Upgrade version? The full OEM version will not upgrade a previous windows install. And the upgrade version should be cheaper too. (Should be that is, but I've yet to find it so.)

I have the XP Pro full version, it DID an upgrade from my 98 SE with no problem.

But I didn't like the way it felt. I then did a clean install, and that felt a lot different from the upgrade setup. I used XP for 3 weeks and went back to 98SE befor I had to activate. It was just more comfortable???
