Hi all, this was in today's Fry's ad which can be seen here

This mouse isn't the greatest optical, hey but for $2.99 you really can't complain too much. I think these are the 1st generation mouses so the mouse might jump on you occassionally.

They also have 256 PC2100 DDR Ram for $35 which seems like a good deal as well.

HEY! thats the mouse i have...well, its pretty much the same. i have the explorer version where the mouse has a back and a forward button on both sides.

this deal is also available at the arlington, tx store according to an ad in my newspaper this morning. don't know about the ram, though, i can't remember if it was there or not

No, the 1st generation is IntelliMouse with IntelliEye 1.0, now is replaced by IntelliMouse Optical, this Wheel Mouse Optical is the cheaper model without the side buttons. I like this one more, the side buttons are easily mistouched. It should be using the same optics as current IntelliMouse Optical - 2nd generation.

I've got no problem with it. I like it, it's more ergonomic than my Logitech wheel mouse optical.

I have an early Logitech mouse and it doesn't jump around or any of that. Mine works great for gaming and everything else.
All I'm sayin is these mice are cool.
Once you go optical, you'll never go back to mouse balls. :Q

Price match time, they sell these at all the major stores and the rebate form is on the side of the box, but the rebate expires June 30.
