My first post, so be kind :)

I noticed in today's staples ad that they had the Microsoft Money Suite for 29.95 in fine print in the part of the ad that listed all the programs you could get for free if you bought taxcut. (It was on page 2 or 3.)

Well, I took it down to circuit city and they price matched it from it's normal price of 89.95. I think I can also use the 20 dollare rebate, to make my total cost 9.95.

They also made me buy a copy of Taxcut for some reason, but I figure I'll buy money standard and mail in the rebate for that as well. My dad want's a copy of it anyways. :)

Well, I hope this hasn't been posted before, and good luck!

I noticed that in the Staples flyer too. I immediately assumed it was a misprint. Never thought about the pricematching potential. Thanks!

Wow -- I would love to PM a copy of Money Suite for $29.99. Unfortunately, we don't have a Staples in Minneapolis...closest one is about 60 miles away. Thus, it might be a little more difficult to talk a store into matching. On the other hand, there are SOOO many tax/finance software deals going on ... it kind-of looks like retailers just want to sell regardless of actual profit. With that stated, I might have a shot. Long story short, would anyone be willing to scan and email me a clearer/possibly slightly larger copy of the ad? Deal is, no store in town means no ad in paper...and the ads that are found on staples.com are so difficult to read...don't think that bringing that in would help my case. Thanks regardless.

order all of them online and you can sit at home

Microsoft Money 2002 Standard 29.95
TaxCut Basic 14.95
plus any of the follow:
TaxCut State CD 19.95
Individual Software Organize Quick & Easy 14.94
Infogrames Productivity Pack CD 14.99

(what i did tonight:
go to staples B&M

and hopefully Money 2002 will rebate the 29.99 to me.
Then i will earn 10 for that 2 software)

Kingsmoit,

Did they give you any hassle at CC?

Can you get any rebate if you buy this with tax cut? I know you can on basic and Deluxe but didn't know about Suite.
