HOT (maybe) OD Laptop Clearance

Don't know if this is nationwide or not. I was in my local OD today and noticed a Compaq1400 XL244 laptop computer on clearance sale for $719.92. It was originally $1499.99. It was the display model though. Here are the specs on it:

Nice.. too bad no DVD though.. it would be nice to watch some movies if I were to take my laptop to school with me...

I'm going to check this out tomorrow at OD.

The HPA screen isn't as good as TFT. If you want to play games, or watch ,movies go for TFT

Not that great of a deal, actually. The HPA screen makes this laptop good for only those who want number crunching (though the CPU is too weak) or word processing. Graphics & any type of motion will look horrible on this screen. The fact is, you can find a TFT active matrix screen for not a whole lot more these days.
