I read this on the M:TG forums and didn't believe it. I checked it out anyway at the Borders in Madison WI and sure enough all Onslaught Boosters were marked $1.88. I couldn't find any M:TG cards on Borders.com so I don't know if this is B&M only; but maybe I'm just blind.

Good Luck.

Enlighten me. How much is a booster suppose to cost in the first place and is 1.88 a good price for the boosters?
i used to be a MTG player long long time ago so am still interested with whats happening with the game now and then

Normally M:TG boosters sell for over $3/pk. The cheapest I've been able to find in the last few years has been $2.50/pk. I'm not sure why Borders is selling them so cheap w/o advertising. It can't be blowing out old stock because this set was just released a few weeks ago.

Dang I used to love playing MTG. I would play for hours. Hhhmmm...I still have all my old cards. That is a super deal for booster packs.

Sigh yeah it was fun playing magic. But it kinda got really expensive after awhile. They were releasing new expansions all the time!

Ick. I spent soooo much money on MTG back in the day... I started buying them by the box online. Way cheaper that way. Unfortunately, I still have boxes of Ice Age boosters sitting in my closet (bought a case), but they were WAY cheaper! :D (read my sig!) Maybe I'll get around to ebay'ing them one of these days.
Oh yeah, my point, sounds like a great price for a retailer, but you still might be able to do better if you're going to end up getting a box's worth of boosters anyway.

yeah, I got hooked back into MTG with the online verision... the reason I quit was because I couldn't find anyone to play against.. but now with the online version I can always find a freak who wants to play any hour of the day... but the pricing scheme really bites! (full retail!!)

Maybe You Magic the Gathering Online players can try to Pricematch :)

Its pretty crazy that you can buy real cards for less than the virtual ones.
