HOT: Lower prices on large Dell LCD's

I just ordered the 2407 using the 20% discount at ebay, and the 4% PDA discount.

I got the 5 yrs limited warranty (the complete accidental coverage warranty was not offered), so add $49 to the price.

Total came out to be $700.

Called the wife and broke the happy news to her...she was speakless for 2 mins.

I blame this all on you guys when she gets home later.

Oh well, gives me a good excuse to upgrade the video card.

Now I just need to run out and buy flowers...

I'm seriously looking at the 3007WFP. Already have 2x2001FP's but I'd like to use them in portrait and have a triple monitor setup for design and other projects. I have a X800GT right now and wouldn't mind being able to do some gaming in the future.

What video card should I be looking at for this (posted this in video too but no responses there yet).

Also (finally, I hope), is the generic DVI cable included with the monitor fine?
