Better:

Go to top of page.
Click on Mushkin.
Select 512 PC2100 SODIMM.
Add coupon.

Pony up $90.
Take delivery ~2 days later.
Install in x300, etc (ever so gently).

Going to Best Buy, etc. ...angst...
whereas Mushkin ,,,priceless...

great website, love to see companies keeping up with the latest stuff. Check out the video card section, they are selling Voodoo cards still, and the best card they have is a Geforce ti4600

Exactly.

Like Cheese, I had planned to go again with Crucial, who wanted $140 all-in for their 512 stick, before I spotted the Mushkin ad and gave them a shot.

Foolish: Can't attest for the Mushkin video line, only memory. I thought we were talikng SODIMMs.

Question for those who purchased Mushkin, I know the Inspiron 5100 series is VERY finicky when it comes to RAM, it doesn't like this, it doesn't like that, you have to be VERY nice to it for it to like anything ... I know the Crucial RAM works because I am running one stick of it now and when I purchased it, they only wanted $88.00 + tx for it, but now it is $119.99 + tx (even with the 5% off coupon that still is $114.00 + tx) ... the Muskin on the other hand is $107.70 ... how do you enter the coupon on Mushkin's site? I don't see anywhere for it?!

My spread was bigger: $140 vs. $90, so it was an easier call.

Since the thing is in a Javascript that runs at the top of this page:

ANAND (case sensitive)

I am sorry, I wasn't clear ... I see the coupon code at the top of the screen for the 10% off, but no matter what I add to my cart there is no where to enter the 10% off coupon code ...

There was a coupon box at checkout. If you get that far and they have removed it, give them a call. Or try
