go to office depot website and search for item # 774551

shows a normal price of $360 online. but when you choose in-store pickup it drops to clearance price of $148.04. However, DEAL IS NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE! There was only ONE in the entire Seattle/Puget Sound area, and i grabbed it in Tukwila for $160 out the door after tax.

Call your local store, ask for stock. Go to the stoor and ask for sku, the last one i got wasn't out on display, it was sitting in the back room. If it is there, it should ring up at this clearance price. Use coupons to make the deal hotter.

let me reiterate: IN STORE ONLY

But you can add it via online right?

This is the message I get when I try to select in-store pickup:
The function you requested is temporarily unavailable. Please try again in a few minutes.

If this problem persists:

Please call our Customer Service Center at 1-888-2-THE-NET (1-888-284-3638) Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST

Or you can leave an email message at orders@officedepot.com for a Customer Service Representative 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Click the "Continue" button to resume using the Office Depot site.

Mine shows $148.04 when I select in-store pickup, but says not available. If I'm in the area later, I'll check to see if they do indeed have one.

Thanks for the deal!

Even without DVI, this is a realy good 15" LCD, and if you can get it for this price, its a thermonuclear hot deal.

seems good did you have to go to the whole checkout to choose instore pickup? I hate to do all that work to see if it is in my area...

In short, no.

Fairly simply process to follow :

[*]From main page, plug 774551 into the search parameter box.[*]Select "Add to Cart"[*]Select "View Cart"[*]Near the top, select the "Pickup at a store" radio button in the "This order is scheduled for:" section[*]Select "Update Shopping Cart"[*]Select a store (if you've entered in your zipcode prior, a store should appear for selection by default)

As suggested by cjoconn22, however, it would be to your advantage to call the stores in your area, and inquire if they have a certain SKU in stock as the online checkout process will not allow you to select in store pickup.

Out of stock in Orange County, CA area. There was one in stock in Orange but it's for display only and they won't sell it. Though I don't see a point in keeping a display if the item is labeled as discontinued by themselves. I would also like to point out that this is a very good reliable monitor. Not the greatest for games but it's very nice to look at when doing the usual stuff like surfing the web (that's what most of us do anyways). Bought it about 3 years ago for almost $400. No dead pixels yet (knocks on wood) and still looking bright and sharp. $150 is a good price but it seems like a lot of flat panels are going down in price, just like the trend we see with DVD burners.

I already have one of these. And to have a set would be great.
However I just spent the last hour calling every OD within 3 hours of Chattanooga, TN.
(About 25 stores)
And not a single store had any. :( How disappointing.

i knew it would be only a few who could grab one, i was very suprised when i found out there was one near me. I acutally suspect that an employee ordered it in to get it at the discounted price. You dont really have to call em individually. When i called a store near me they said their computers can check the stock of up to 5 other stores in that region.

good luck to everyone else who tries, i hope im not the only person whos able to get one

Keep in mind that their inventory isn't real time. One store in my area said that another store had one in stock. I called the other store, and they said they were all out.

;) also keep in mind that employees aren't always totally honest. when you called the store, when they looked it up it probably showed the discounted price, and they may have wanted it for themselves. thats why when the Federal Way store told me the Tukwila store had one, i drove over to check rather than call Tukwila and confirm.

When I called my store, they said I was the 8th person who asked about it today and that they haven't carried that model for over 2 months now. Oh well. :)
