Price dropped to $144.98
- add something for $5.02 to bring it up to $150.00. Let's say Zip Disk Storage Box
- use one of the $30.00 off $150.00 coupons
------
Total: $120.00

Link here

You could probably PM, and, I guess, use Dash, to bring the price down even lower.

I saw the rebate for this item the other, if I recall correctly. It is item# 11172 at Staples. Go to Staples.com rebate center and search for iomega. If that's so, it warmer! Not sure how to linkify, any one can tell me? PM me.

The model Staples has for $144.98 is the USB Powered Drive which appears to be Model #31310. The $50 rebate only applies to (Model #10918, #11113, #11172, & #10933). Iomega site with model #'s:

I guess you need to call Staples (or use the Live Support on teh help page and see what their model number is on the USB Drive. This page from IOMEGA suggests the ZIP 25 USB is model # 11172.

Edit: See Below: I have no idea why the difference.

Here is what Live Support told me about the model number:

<< Jeff: Okay, thanks.
Nikki: Manufacturer #31310
Jeff: It is your item 451303 and I am trying to figure out if it qualifies for the $50 Rebate/Gift Check on 250 MB ZIP drives.
Nikki: It is 31310.
[Nikki - A representative has joined the session.]
A staples.com customer service representative will be with you in about a minute.
Jeff: Can you give me the Model Number for this product: http://www.staples.com/Catalog/Browse/SKU.asp?BCFlag=False&PageType=1&SKU=451303

There are two different Zip 250 USB drives. One uses an AC adapter and is eligible for the gift check rebate. The newer one draws power from the USB port and is NOT eligible for the gift check rebate.

I know because I researched this before buying the AC adapter-powered drive.

This is still a good deal. The cheapest I found in other places was 133.00 plus shipping.
