EDIT-2/27: if knew the gift card was iffy...but staples won't even price match the damn thing with compusa...i've tried several CSR's...they all received a memo not to price match this drive with compusa because staples price is $189 after the manufacturer's MIR...now keep in mind this exact same rebate is available at CompUSA...but POS staples does not care...when i talked to a supervisor her first question was 'where did you get that coupon code?'
the dollar days at staples are numbered

1) go to staples and add sku # 31475 to your basket...it will show up as $239.98
2) place the order using any $30 off $150 coupon
3) use dash to save another 4%
(not counting dash in the equation since no one seems to like dash...why is this??)
4) call staples & price-match with compusa...they have the drive for $199.99
5) there is a $50 rebate offer thru iomega here
6) now here's where it get tricky...this weekend staples is offering a $30 gift check if you purchase any iomega item over $199.98...now they should factor this in before they give you the price adjustment...but i called the staples rebate center & they said it was 2 different offers...i called my local staples and the manager said to come by and he would give me the form to mail in for the gift check...i will update this after i get the form
even if the $30 gift check falls thu this is a damn nice external drive for $119 + tax
