nice lookin set, not a bad price for the set either, infinity makes good products, just have to like their sound. wish i had a store near me that carried infiniti home audio so i could have auditioned a set...would have saved me money w/ these as compared to my mains
I have not heard these speakers, but if they sound as good as my old infinity Reference 6 speakers they are worth every penny of $800.00/pair. My Ref. 6's still sound awesome 10 years later
Anyone interested really needs to find a local retailer and give them a try.
The stats look almost identical to my Reference 6 speakers (ohms, sensitivity, freq. response, etc.)
The Infinity Kappa has always been a very good "line" of speakers. I'm using the Crescendo series (larger models for the front channels and about this size for the rear channels) which was the model name that it sold through Circuit City in 1998. I bought the "Kappa" center channel speaker elsewhere that matched with the EmitR tweeters. They're still pumping out movies in my main home theater today. I blew out a 10" woofer on the mains that was replaced under warranty and I blew out a tweeter and had to pay for replacement ...good service ...good company.
.
This One Call link from Lucifer Lost is a killer price for the pair. They're on clearance and won't last at that price. This smaller tower is perfect for full range surrounds and the cherry wood is well ...cherry!
