HOT in Theory: iPAQ 3635 ~$150 + Tax? Sears - Please Confirm

Didn't have the money on me or the time to talk to a sales rep. Also stopped by radioshack and the rep told me that the $350 iPAQ deal ended 12/15 and he didn't know what the price would be after that. Anyways walked over to Sears and looked at theres. Next to the display unit that said $50 rebate next to their unit. Didn't mention MIR or Instant but I'm going to call tommorrow. Anyways if you can get sears to PM radioshack you can get it down to $350 - $50 Sears - $150 Compaq= $150 + Tax. In theory should work but I don't know if the rebates will be stackable. Anyone got anymore info about this one?

Compaq ran a $50 rebate promo for the 3635 a while ago. I wouldn't be surprised if that was just an old tag.

You'll just get the $150 with this deal.

I saw the same tag when I bought my Ipaq from sears. The tag did say that it ran until 12/31. The salesman couldn't find a rebate form anywhere, so he just knocked $50 off the price (down to $299). In retrospect, I think that $50 might be the sears price drop from $549 to $499.

I got screwed by RS (they said they ordered a 3635 for me but instead put the order in queue), and my local Sears has these in stock. Whether or not they have the extra $50 off or not this is still a good deal for people who can't find the 3635 at RS.

Well, here's the deal.

I have all the information you will need to get this deal...

1.) RadioShack Webpage showing the 3635 in stock
2.) RadioShack Checkout "Cart" with the item in the cart and Michigan Sales tax (so you would have to edit this to show your states relevant Sales tax) Also, I have edited out my name and billing info etc.... you have to edit yours into the "Cart" page.....
3.) A printable coupon page for $30 off $150 and $15 off $100

I personally used the above to get 2 ipaq's today! The cashier was a fellow student (didn't know her personally but she was a college kid) and she happily applied both coupons to my order for $45 off! Basically no sales tax for me. The total you ask? $699.94 for 2 ipaqs. So I get $300 back in rebates... making it $399.94

YMMV with the coupons... it depends on the cashier.......

Oh man, I just dropped my Palm yesterday, doh! It still boots up, and it hotsync'd just fine, but the touch screen no longer works I called Palm and found out that they don't replace screens, just give you a "discount" on buying straight from them. It was all of like $20 off, so I have been scouring the Hot Deals forum to find a replacement. This Ipaq would be great, but I can't afford the $400 it would run me, so if someone could pass along that link to the advertised price, that would be super awesome for me. I don't really guess I could offer you much in return, but I'd do my best to help someone out in any way I can. I guess I could mention that I live near a Virgin MegaStore and own a Amex Blue card (they don't have Xbox's tho, I've already checked on that one) so I could get someone a discount on something that they'd like from there though. Hope someone can hook a guy up!

the only problem I see in this deal not going through is that since the website now... indicates the 549 non-sale price, if they check... it wont fly. Is it 349 at radio shacks b&m? I am just wondering...
