CompUSA has a code 'BEADS2' that gives you 20% off all MP3 players, including the iPod (everything except the shuffle), the Creative Zen Micro [in store only, doh], a bunch of different flash players?lots of stuff here. Technically, the code isn't supposed to work with the iPods, but I've been told it does?your mileage may vary.


Havent posted for a while but i thought you guys might like this, shame good old blighty dont have deals like this

I disagree with the thread crapping on this one. This is a unique hot deal in that the code is working on Apple products, which are specifically cited as not being covered in allisolm's pdf post. Definitely a more precise deal than just linking to the weekly Compusa pdf.

We all saw that post. But the other one said 20% off excludes Hp and Apple players. This one here works with apple with the coupon code ;)

I second that boo! I just received a cancellation email identical to Tangman's. Compusa continues to live up to their craptacular standards!

They still shouldn't allow an order to go through the checkout if the promotion isn't valid for those products. The web team in charge should be canned and replaced with better people. If you notice, there aren't too many pricing errors anymore. The big sites are starting to get better. I figure it's only a matter of 5 years and we'll never be able to get hooked up from the stupidity they hire.

Wow, I'm really tempted to get a Gmini XS200 for $200 shipped. That's over 15 bucks cheaper than anywhere else.

As for the iPod, people give it a fvcking rest. You are NOT going to find a good deal on a new iPod. Apple goes out of its way to prevent sales on its products so that you will buy it from their web site. The most you can hope for in a good deal for a mac is a refurb or a rebate deal.
