Hot: HP iPaq MP1200 Microportable XGA 1000 Lumens Projector $899.97

Get the Dell MP3200 (?) for $900...it's brighter and works great.

As with this Dell and HP (and most lower end DLP projector's), color output isn't the best. True Yellow looks more like a Lime-Green.

If you search the KB's of Dell and HP they clearly document this "feature" and blame it on DLP technology and that their products are not defective as a result (aka....don't call asking for a RMA).

My company has both these projectors.....bought because of their size....both have the same flaw. We have a lightbox DLP projector, but it cost almost $3000, weighs 14lbs, bigger, noiser (fan), and uses a 300W+ lightbulb to achieve a 1800 lumen output.

My $.02 of info......

The 3200MP would rock for $900, but I think only the 2100MP (SVGA) is available at that price.

The HP/Compaq MP1200 is a good display device for excel spreadsheets and other office work, but not a great home theater projector. The contrast is too low, the colors are off, the colorwheel is 2x, and the brightness uniformity is pretty poor. It's made for the office and it performs well there, especially for the price.
