The HP is slower (and less memory I think), but is much smaller than the Axim.

It's kind of like a thin-n-light versus a regular-sized laptop. Just depends on your needs.

How does this compare to my old Ipaq H3635?
MHz is the same, but CPU's are different, that's all I know, but MHz to MHz isn't always a fair comparison.

iPAQ 1910 compared to iPAQ 3600 series

Pros
- (Much) Smaller
- Longer battery life
- Much better screen
- Integrated expansion slot

Cons
- Slower
- Can't use most of the accessories available to other iPAQs due to its different form factor
- 2.5mm audio output connection as opposed to the more familiar 3.5mm connection
- only 48MB available for use because of the type of ROM used

These are the few points I recall off the top of my head

The older StrongARM processor is much faster than the newer X-Scale processor at the same speed. Also, the PocketPC O/S and applications were compiled for the StrongARM; the X-Scale is compatible but there is currently no plan to optimize the compilers for the new platform (as far as I know).

I have the Axim X5 400MHz, and love it. But you may have trouble with things like MAME, which sometimes struggles at 400Mhz. Most other applications (such as the basic PDA functions) should be fine at 200MHz.

I got one... it sucks at playing video but audio is ok. Don't buy it if you don't mind the bigger size of axim. Otherwise you are paying for a great slim pda.

Well, I went to Office Depot and played with an H1910 and fell in love with its small size and weight.
That's the main reason I don't carry my Ipaq around with me that much... it's big, and heavy.
The H1910 is almost as small as my Palm Vx was... maybe a little bigger, but not much.

Oh so tempting... if it was $50 cash instead of a gift card (who knows when I'll buy something from OM next) and came with a cradle, I would be all over it.
