Hot Hot Hot!!!

Hello

Here are my temps currently (idle):

MB: 31 C
CPU: 37 C
Case: 34 C

I Have 1 case fan in the back of case that is removing the hot air out.
What can I do to lower the temps?

Thank You

What's so bad about those temps? My non-O/C'ed 2000+ XP is currently idling at 47C with the retail HSF. My MB temp is 31C on a Epox 8RDA Nforce2 board.

Give us a little more info about your CPU and the heatsink+fan combo you are using.

Regarding the case fans, you might want to consider installing an intake fan at the lower front of your case. Also, installing another exhaust fan at the rear would most definately help...

if your system is stable, ie not crashing or anything, then i don't see the point in trying to reduce your already low temps

Make me feel bad for running a 25 C case and 54 C CPU. Geez. Guess I need a new HSF.

If my Athlon can run at 56-60C for the past two years, I seriously doubt you have much to worry about. 😉

Ouch, my XP2K+ runs 32-35C idle and 47C load. I use a Vantec Aeroflow though. You should get something better then that, we all know AMDs coolers are just enough to cool thier CPUs.

skinman2: put one case fan in the front blowing in with a filter on it to push cooler air in there. But your temps seem ok.

Water cooling? Or better yet, take the cover off your case and get one of those big 18" household fans and you got yourself lower temperature! 🙂
