I wonder why Who wants to be a millionaire needs insurance. They make way over a million from commercials alone so they can easily pay out if anyone wins. And that seems to be pretty rare lately, so they must have lots of $$$ stored up.

Locutus4, are you SURE you don't have to buy anything for this deal? I mean, if it rains, then does that mean they have to give out bedroom sets, big screen tvs, and computers to the entire city if they come crashing at their door? I've seen this type of marketting before, often with sporting events though, and you BUY the item first, then if the said condition arises, then you get the item you bought free.

Check this out, i just checked the forecast and there is a predicted 0.7 inches of rain for October 31. That means there is a fairly good chance of this deal happening, i cant wait!

I am sure you have to buy something on some date for this to work or this makes no sense... it would be stupid.. everyone would not spend a dime and then wait to see if it rains and millions of people would beat down the door to get their free stuff. (now.. unless they say free on whatever in stock. That could be it. Insurance co. could then do their statistics and figure out a policy...)
