Yes yes everyone wants one. Too bad it is very much overlypriced for a mainboard. I couldn't afford one.

well, consider it includes all the fancy stuff, it's still good price, at 575 listed on pricewatch, how real is that...

consider dual mobo at 250, added dual nic for servers, +100, dual channel ultra 160 scsi + 200, it's price right

they'll make it without the onboard dual nic and onboard dual scsi, then the price would be like 200...

Like I've said before. You're not buying a board ment for anything less than a workstation. Not many home users require 64 bit PCI or dual channel Ultra160. And imagine packing in 4GB of PC2100 :D

This board is definitely meant for high end workstation/low end server. Tyan thunder series has always been about $500-$600. Don't forget you also get onboad sound and video.
But it's worthless without the Palominos. Everything is supposed to come down June 4 at the beginning of Computex. Other MB makers will show off their cheaper solutions as well. VIA will announce the KT266MP chipset. Lots of good things next week.

Its a shame they had to ruin that board by putting not one but two 3CRAP nic's on in(Intel fan here).
