I tried it and it seems the deal with the 17 inch comes to 599 not 549.

Edit: I'm an idiot, just choose the 17 for 50 extra instead of 100 extra

What does "Affiliate Exclusive" mean with these really hot coupons, and does Dell care?

If you order more than 1 the 500 is divided by the amount of computers you buy. If you buy 3, you only save like $166 each, not $1500.

$500 off $999 is a great deal! but does the 4600 worth anywhere close to $999 to begin with?

well, ... I've made my decision. Too much money for a system without a video card, only 256MB of ram, and no speakers. I will wait until later in the year and see what is shaking then. My 2.4 P4 will have to suffice for a while yet...

I just did a quick configue of an exact model as the one I got and you can get it for $977.00, which is $300.00 more than the one I spec'd. So you are not really saving $500.00, but more like $300.00

Nice deal anyway.....

It's a warm deal. Luv2Save Ctrl+V's the "**HOT! HOT**" into every new thread title by default.

My motto: if you have to think twice about hitting the "Submit Order" button, it's not a TRULY hot deal.

I said in another thread...I bit one of the 4600 deals last week and emailed dell to return it...what I got in response was $150 NOT to return it. I took their offer.

yeah... i need to find my gf a computer and i almost hit submit, but by the time you slightly up the unacceptable 40gig hard drive 256 ram and plain ol' cd rom drive. Think i'll just build one.
