Go to restaurant.com and on the first page you need to enter a coupon code which is 5 numbers (which you can find online i guess) and then u can search for local restaurants and orger gift certificates (25 dollars worth for 3 dollars) you can print online and use. Th e coupon code is worth 70% of total bill so order a lot of them, just make sure they dont expire. Good luck

I've bought from them on ebay, they're prompt and reliable.

The site is extremely slow but you need some patience, and it could pay off if a lot of your local resturants are participating. I have a couple near by my place and it is so worth the money to buy the certificates online.

I found a restaurant down the street from me that I've wanted to try, but been turned off by the price...now I'm all over it. Nice deal!

I just read the terms and you can only use one certificate per visit. That kinda puts a damper on the deal, but it is still hot. Thanks OP

Man is that site slow!!! It's almost unbearable to wait on it. But I did find our favorite restaurant...so the wait was worth it!! there were 69 restaurants in my area...I guess living next to Mouseland helps :D

Most of the restaurants in So Cal, have restrictions like, $40 minimum, or 4+ parties, ... doesn't include alcohol.

I've checked them before... not much locally. btw, most of the restaurant g.c.'s on ebay seem to be from them (or at least used to)

btw, this has been mentioned in hot deals numerous times in the past...

here
here
here
and quite a few others... I'm not going to take the time to link them all.

Anyway, thanks for the reminder though! It's always great to save money when eating out, and the price you're showing - $3 for $25 makes me think they're changing the offers... I think they used to be 50% off (12.50 to buy a $25)

Make sure you read the requirements VERY carefully. Some require a certain total check amount, or that you pay the balance in Cash, or that you have a certain number of people in the party, etc..... These are not like Gift Cards that have no restrictions.... That being said, there are some good deals, although not many restaurants in my area (6 in StLouis)

1 dollar on ebay for these and 1 dollar for a handling fee.

total $2 bucks.

I tried these and half the retaurants accept the gift certificates and half don't honor them.

but then again, I've only been to two restaurants.

not a bad deal though.

Simply Fondue is still around? I ate there in Dallas maybe 8 years ago and it was AWFUL.

(shrug) I ate there a couple of years ago and thought it was pretty good. Maybe they've improved. Or maybe my taste in food sucks. :)

Be careful though, some restaurants may not honor these coupons. I checked about 5 in the Philly area, & 1 of them said they weren't honoring them (it took some time for them to remember that they made a deal with the site).

Might be a good idea to qualify the restaurants you're interested in buying certs for & call them. Get a manager if anyone feigns knowledge of these.

Read some of the earlier threads posted about this (see DrPizza's post) & other comments. For $3 though, a great deal if you can get the restaurant to honor it.

ALl i do is before ordering the coupons, i call the resturant ( number provided on the site) and then ask them if they will accept the coupon from the website, and they will tell you right there and most of the time they will tell you the restrictions on the phone also. That is what i do and it works for me.
