Woah never thought I would have seen something for the fresno area on here. Well im here for 3 more weeks to ill go back to school in LA. Its not like there is much else to do here and I can always use 50 bones so you will see me there if i get selected. Thank you for the info!

Dang fresno? Cool, first time I seen something that specified Fresno :) How many other ATers live here?

BTW, as for being the armpit, personally I like it here. I mean sure, I moved here from a place that was WAY out in the boonies in upstate NY where I had to drive over an hour to get to the nearest computer store, and I was stuck at 56k where I was, whereas now I'm on DSL and just a 15 min drive from everything (I'm on the outskirts of town)... so I might be predjudiced, but personally I think its a nice place to live so far. :)

Hey I signed up for this too. I'm from Fresno, and fortunately live on the north side of town, which is actually a really nice area to live. Only downside with be the pollution problem. but hey at least its better then LA's pollution. My girlfriend used to live in upstate New York too (Livonia, near Rochester) and I went with her to visit her family, and boy, yer right about the boonies..... GEEZ heres me thinking New York means nothing but big cities and skyscrapers... boy was I wrong.

Yep..another Fresno person here. Actually, I live in Clovis...work in Fresno (Near Woodward Park).

Decent area for motocross at least :)

Hahaha, yea Fresno does suck at times but im sure many of the people talking trash on the city have no room to talk. There only about 10 other states that can even compare to the worst places in CALI, which Fresno is not one of. I live in LA and theres no way im going back to Fresno but beats the hell out of most places. Woo to north fresno! Supprisingly there are a lot of good looking people here, god knows why or how.

Okay, Clovis, but close enough. (Clovis is north and east of Fresno, but they run together, thus the "metropolitan area". It's also where all the good-looking people someone just mentioned live. ;-) )

And before you other Californians start dissin' the 'no, let me point out that at least we can afford our houses here. :p

Really? Funky. That's near where upstate was that I lived at. I was about an hour south of Rochester, way down in farm country boonies. So the hour I had to drive that I was referring to was the hour it took me to drive to Rochester for the nearest computer stores :)

Here in Fresno its practically a computer store on every few blocks in the commercial areas. I generally go to the big ones though, or order online.

FYI, the airport code for Fresno has been changed from FAT (Fresno Air Terminal) to FYI (Fresno-Yosemite International Airport).

And our bus system was *never* Fresno Area Rapid Transit (FART). It is Fresno Area eXpress (FAX).

I signed up for it last Thursday but still have yet to recieve an e-mail confirmation or phone call as the web site had led me to believe.

Ah well, I'm upset that we had a retarded spat of rain today..... now my car is all dirty and I just washed it...... ARGGGH if it's gonna rain make it worth while dammit! Don't just put water spots on my car! GRRRR! DAMN YOU FRESNO!

I signed up too and have yet to recieve a response. Just to clarify it is well known that fresno is the armpit and Bakersfield is the anus of California.
