Not trying to crap but I'm sure there are tons of people still waiting on their Soyo FAR checks. Thank god I avoided them.

I did actually get paid for one of my three Soyo rebates. Not buying any more Soyo rebate items until I get the other two rebates in my hand. Only took five months . . .

Well, I haven't heard a single person that said they got their rebate quickly, on time, or moderately late. It has always been obscenely late. This puts a damper on my low cost HTPC :|

Well, my SOYO rebate is 10 weeks overdue. I finally sent them a e-hatemail was was told that my rebate was valid and should be ariving in 2-3 more weeks.

What a pile of garbage. The deal is the deal, or in their case, the deal is the deal if you catch me.

No more business for Soyo. Remember, you get the behavior you tolerate.:disgust:

This sounds like a classic case of a company teetering on bankruptcy, needing immediate cash-flow. You can get comparable motherboards at Newegg in the $30-40 pricerange -- so if the rebate doesn't come through, you have really been screwed.

Here's another vote for avoiding Soyo/PChips rebates, you are more likely to find the money on the street when you walk outside than recieve the rebate.

Sure sounds like it, doesn't it? I was almost tempted to buy one of those FAR Soyo S478 boards from Microcenter, glad I didn't.

I was just thinking the same thing. Bankruptcy couldn't be far off, with them offering these FAR mobos constantly. This reminds me of Cendyne right before they went bankrupt--they had been offering FAR cd burners every weekend.

I'll wait until Soyo goes broke and the board sells for $20 without rebates. :p
