Cheap price for a quality case, but it's got an old-school layout. I just got rid of my last "old school" case - I prefer side-to-side drive slots and the power supply at the bottom, even for a MicroATX case. Having the PSU at the bottom makes it quieter and cooler (allows big fans at the top, too).

Of course, my ideal layout is one that puts the motherboard oriented with the backplane slots straight up... even better cooling potential.

The PSU thing I get, but what are side to side drive slots?

BTW, there's also case designs I prefer, but the selection pool of mATX half towers is limited.

For the price it's not bad for a budget build. I used one for a build. The hdd mounting sideways is the strangest thing. Power supply mounting up top aids in cooling as the rear fan mount is 92mm.

When you open the side up, the drive slides straight in. I'd love to see future cases implement an actual backplane slot in the future, where you just slide the drive in and "click-in" - eliminating cable clutter.

It looks like they mounted the drives VERTICALLY in this case to conserve space, but the side-to-side does the same thing with a lot more convenience for adding drives later.

If you can catch it on sale the Lian Li PC-A04b is a nice one. A little pricey but goes on sale for $60-$70 shipped once in a while.
