HOT! Epson R320 Photo Printer $25 AC AR YMMV

Use this link to check for availability of printers in your area.

You can get $10 off $20 coupons from Radio Shack stores in your area that are closing down.

Use the $10 off $20 coupon to bring the Epson R320 Printer down to $75. Then use the $50 rebate to further bring down the price to $25.

$85 Printer
-$10 coupon
-$50 rebate
------
$25 AC AR

Stock is very limited and some stores may not have the clearance price in their system, so YMMV.

There is no need to buy an additional digital camera or other accessories along with the printer to qualify for the rebate.
Also, this printer can use non-OEM ink cartridges.

Here is a CNet review.

If the coupon was in the email they sent me, I deleted it.

I'll have to check the Sunday paper.

Maybe they take Staples coupons if there are any of those around???

While everyone is worrying how to save an extra $10 on an already really good deal with a coupon that they can't find, the last of the printers are probably being sold. I got the last one in Rancho Cucamonga. Spent a few minutes looking for the 10 off 20 coupon, no luck so it was off to get the printer. At $35 I still feel like I scored, I make lots of CD lables, so this should be just what I need. THANKS!

U snooze, U loose.

What do you mean they are at the closing stores?

Is it a coupon in a flyer?

Go to a closing store (look at their store locator).

issue is... you cannot use them in the closing stores... so wtf>?.

Pretty darn hot if you can find 'em. Then you can check and see if you made your pre- purchase or yor recent purchase here in order to squeeze some more money out of the deal. For those that don't know, there is currently a class action lawsuit against Epson for certain models of their fine printers. No, really, I have 3 Epson's myself and a couple Canon's. I love them all. But, the Eppy's should play nice when they tell ya it's time to replace the ink. Check out the link it's informative. I have a choice of $75 coming back in the form of a check , or $135 credit at the E-store. I like cash & hot deal forum thanks. Thanks OP!! P.S. You a Norris fan?? My cousin is his personal pilot. Seems he likes his job, and his boss.

JasonCoder-- I suppose your gonna try HP? Have you priced their Ink Carts compared to Epson's?? LOL good luck. Let me know what mfgr. you choose & why. They all have problem's from time to time, model to model. Check the hardware reviews & the avg. annual cost of use. No brother or Lexmark for me. I'm not talking laser's either, only regarding ink jets less than $300.

Thanks for sharing. Good pricing.

6 ink cartridges and changing might keep one busy. Sometimes I wonder whether those off shade extra color cartridges really help color rendition. Even at $10 per, that's $60 to change them all. Epson and others should be giving away the hardware for free since they get so much return in ink sales. (this one is close to free) 😉

I agree with AMDBOY, all manufacturers make their money off of the ink carts...so what's new. They are selling the printers usually at or near cost in order to get the ink revenue. You can circumvent this by buying cheaper third party ink though it almost always of lower quality than OEM.

And as Lpenquin said, while some are trying to track down another $10 coupon, RS may sell out. I got one of the two remaining printers at my local RS yesterday morning. I figured that $35 for this printer without the coupon is still a terrific deal.

There were also a number of other clearance items on sale at some very attractive prices. For example:

Powered 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub with cable and 4 port 2.0 USB PCI card - $15
Combination VHS VCR and progressive scan CD player - $40.

Ink? Just get generics - they are available for this printer in many places, including ebay. You'd have to be crazy to buy ANY name brand ink for ANY printer! It's just not worth it!

I have a R300 (w/o the display) that I've been using over 2 years (when the price was $189, but I bought for $150 from Buy.com).

About ink - it's retail $12 a piece x 6 = $72. But I never bought retail Epson ink other than the one's came with it. I bought probably 8+ sets from ebay, generic/compatible, that's 6 cartridges = 1 set. On average, I paid $12/set. It works, it's cheap and screw Epson and all other printer manufacturers who makes money with ink (and not printer). Thanks to the generic companies making compatible ink.

NEVER BUY RETAIL INK ANYMORE!

P.S. I printed hundreds of printable DVDs, it's a cool printer, but it has it's flaw. Start using, you'll find out 🙂

Well, the CD DVD tray (and the whole mechanism system) has flaw. I thought it was just my printer, but I went to Epson forum and found that everyone (not almost everyone, but everyone) has issue with it. I don't know if it's done deliverately but they also sell seperate trays (suppose to be better) but for very expensive price.

You can find thirs party or on ebay, a better replacenet tray... still it will cost around $20.

Also, I think this is true with all printers. If you use regularly or not, but the ink drips slowly. And the software for ink monitor it's writtey so cleverly that if you are replacing one cartridge out of six which has ran out of ink, but some other still has inks, will force you to through them away. It's like a chain reaction. You replace the empty one, then it force you to replace one more, when you replace that, it force you to replace another...

I hope this helps.

Elswhere on AT, I recall a post of a class action lawsuit against Epson concerning deliberate flaws that cause a user to replace tanks when they're not empty. You can get $25 or someother deal as compensation.

My questions are, with this lawsuit settled, does that mean ...
1) New software that accurately monitors ink will be available for our old
Epsons.

Note current models are included in the lawsuit.
I bought one last month that is a current model and in the lawsuit.

2) Will they update current hardware models to monitor ink accurately?

3) Can we expect current models to be clearanced to be replaced with updated
version of current models or to be replaed with new models?

Actually no, I use a Canon MP390 at the moment. I does pretty good and the ink only costs me around $15 for 2 blacks and a color. The same amount of ink for my old Epson ran me over $35. I've heard I could even save more if I went generic but I never plan that far ahead and end up needing ink and buying retail.

For whatever reason, Canon's end up being cheaper on ink. My reasoning (and others as well) is that Canon isn't leaning on the ink so much for all thier profit. Wtf does Epson make except printers really? I mean yeah, the odd camera or scanner or two but not really like Canon.

I just wish they would release a darn 64-bit driver....
