Just surfed on over to the eBates page and on the front in big letters is written: "INTRODUCING 2% CASH BACK AT AMAZON.COM!"

Don't know for how long this is for or whether it's permanent, but still...combined with all these Gold Box deals this could potentially be very hot (assuming they are stackable).

Ok. Easy now... What is eBates and how does it work?

ebates is a rebate company. Basically they are an affiliate of every sales program going. They offer you a cut of their affiliate sales. For instance, Amazon's affiliate program gives out 5% on most stuff. If you go through Ebates, they'll give you 2% of whatever you buy. Its free money for you, basically.

So you ask, why don't I just sign up for the affiliate program myself and the 5% right? Well, cuz its a hassle for one. The other reason is you have to deal with minimum payouts.
