This is a pretty darn good deal, since it's an E2180 for the same price as an E2140, as long as you buy a motherboard for it.

You need to apply the promo code:

EBL1041938263

I hope this helps a few people out, and hopefully the deal lasts a little while.

I'm hoping I'll pick this up as well. I recommend the Gigabyte DS3L motherboard for this deal.

I think I might pick this up before I pick up some ram....

ugotdeals, what RAM and cooler do you own? Also, if you OC, what kind of speeds are you seeing?

TIA

I'm using a E2140 on a P31-DSL3, stock cooler, and I've hit 3ghz no sweat. I haven't had the time to try and push it further, but honestly I'm happy with 3ghz :)

I haven't got the CPU + mobo yet. Ordered them last Saturday and will be delivered hopefully tomorrow. I can't answer your OC question yet. But there's plenty of answers on the anandtech CPU/overclocking board.
I have the HP/Micron D9NLH PC2-5300 1gb sticks. I'm planing to use the stock cooler but I also have a Cooler Master Hyper TX2 if the stock is not enough.

BTW, there's still the pricegrabber $5 rebate available for the Neo2-FR. Hurry if you want it.

I think I'm going to wait until my 3700+ really can't compete with dual cores in games anymore. Then I'll snatch a 45nm quad core cheap!
