Hot DVD deals going on at fye/Coconuts B&Ms

fye/Coconuts stores have the following DVDs on sale for $6.99 out the door:
Austin Powers Gold Member
The Bachelor
Blast from the Past
Drop Dead Gorgeous
Rush Hour 2
Wedding Singer
These DVDs also have a $5 rebate available for each of them (you can use one form for all of these and mail just one envelope) to bring them down to $1.99. But best of all, fye/Coconuts stores are offering a $10 off coupon/certificate when you spend $30 or more.

So the math works out to: $6.99*5=$35(up front)-$10(coupon/certificate for future purchase)-$25(rebates)=FREE! Of course, if you don't count the coupon as equal to real money it'd just be $2 each after rebate.

fye/Coconuts (they're owned by the same parent company) stores also have popular Disney DVD titles on sale for just $9.99 before rebate, and $4.99 after rebate. But what makes this deal even hotter is that if you spend over $30 at their B&M stores you'll get a $10 coupon/certificate good towards a future purchase (of any amount!). The DVDs are *not* labeled as $9.99 in most stores though, although the $4.99 after rebate will probably be mentioned somewhere. Either way though, don't worry since they should ring up as $9.99 regardless-I had initially thought that there was a $25 rebate to get the DVDs down to $4.99 since my own DVDs were marked $29.99!

So if you buy three of the Disney DVDs for $9.99 up front and maybe a candy bar or something (I bought a Snickers Almond bar when I went about 10 minutes ago 😛) you'll basically end up getting all three for $30-$10(the $10 off coupon/certificate)-$15(by rebate). You can also pad your purchase up to $30 with the 50 cent cassette tapes they have lying around, and they also had a promotion on some (really bad) DVDs for $1.49 if you buy another DVD, so that's another option.

Best of all, these aren't cruddy never heard of DVDs, they're hot new Disney releases! Titles include:
Aladdin - Platinum Special Edition (2 Disc)
Brother Bear (2 Disc)
Country Bears
The Haunted Mansion
Inspector Gadget 2
The Three Musketeers
Mulan - Special Edition (2 Disc)
Pirates of the Caribbean

I picked up Mulan, Aladdin, and Brother Bear for myself and after the free $10 coupon these DVDs are going to end up costing me less than $1.70 each! This is a crazy price for such high quality titles.

For those who want to combine the Disney and regular DVD deals, I'd suggest buying these DVDs and the Disney DVDs separately so you'll get two $10 certificates (unless of course you want to mix and match just to get to $30 once). Either way, fye/Coconuts has some burning hot summer DVD deals going on right now!

I know this post may seem weirdly redundant and weirdly organized, but that's because it was combined from two posts I typed up on my website but I figured it made more sense to combine them into one big DVD deal. So, I apoligize for any difficulty reading it.

wow...I guess nobody thought this was quite as hot as I did, lol.

Well, I guess I'll try to make it a little hotter by mentioning that some of the DVDs had sticker UPCs on an outer wrapper or the box that you can remove for the rebate (presumably these UPCs will work for the rebate since they're the ones that they scan at the stores), so your DVD boxes will remain unharmed...which means you could technically trade them in at Blockbuster... 😉

Of course...that would only be seriously useful if you had like a billion mailing addresses.

Maybe if you'd clean up your post and the misleading title. I've read over it twice and i still don't understand...okay maybe I understand it but it's confusing as hell.

I don't think my original title was misleading, I gave the "real" price plus the coupon price. I've added AR now to help clarify it even further but it was already hot before even if you didn't send in the rebates since it'd be 3 disney dvds and a $10 certificate for $30.

Anyways, is there something else that's misleading that I'm forgetting? Constructive criticism is welcome. I removed "uber flaming" since I guess not everyone thinks it's "uber flaming" but I figure that it definitely deserves HOT.

That's a lot of rebates to deal with (too many for me). Good deal if you don't mind doing all the work.

Good deal. I picked up Brother Bear, Aladdin and Pirates of the Caribbean at FYE.

I got the $10 coupon for future in store purchase, but no rebates for the individual movies. There's no sign anywhere in the store indicating the rebates you're talking about.
