Here is the deal.
According to BestBuy.com, they are selling Pioneer Dolby Digital/DTS 5-Channel Digital A/V Receiver Model: VSX-D510 for $249.
In todays San Jose Mercury News they advertised the same receiver for $149. Here is the plan, buy it from bestbuy B&M, pay for it, walk over to Customer Service counter and have them price match to frys and give 110% pricematch. Here is the math: ($249-$149)=$100 difference, So you end up paying $149-10% of $100 difference=$139+tax..
Very good deal for a very good receiver....
AudioReview.com review
No S-Video i/o on this however....
They(frys) Also have Technics 500-watt DVD-Audio ready home Technics SA-DA15N receiver for $199
here is the Manufacturers info
Cheapest(the only) pricegrabber link shows $259... This one does have s-video
Also something to consider is JVC RX-7010 which Frys is clearing out for $199. Tons of Input-Outputs S-Video, TOSLINK, Coax, you name it.....

Unfortunately, I dont have the ad with me, left it at work, so no scans untill monday night, but the deal is good through Tuesday. WHat you can do is if you have frys nearby, go there and ask the salesman to print out the quote for the receiver and then take it to bestbuy for pricematch

Remember, to get 110% price guarantee, buy first, pricematch later. Otherwise, they will only go down to frys price and you will not get 10% of the price difference

no s-video??? that really is a shame, as the difference between composite and s-video is like night and day. but if your components don't use s-video anyways, then the pioneer should work fine. still, watching a dvd through composite video is a big sacrifice in image quality.
