No, you tried to imply that McDonald's topping was fake. And switched to BK when I showed you the ingredients

And oilve oil is a poor choice for deep frying because it's smoke point is far too low. And very wsatefull because even if you can get away with using it once, it cannot be reused.

And here:

4. What type of oil should I use for deep-frying?
Peanut oil is good, as it has a high smoking point and thus does not burn easily even at high temperatures. Vegetable oils such as canola and corn oil are also good choices. Don't use sesame oil - it doesn't have a high enough smoking point. Neither does olive oil - besides, it's too expensive given the high quantities needed for deep-frying. Chinese recipes used to call for lard, but most don't anymore because of the fat content.

As you can see, olive oil is NOT a good oil to deep fry. Are you confusing pan frying with deep frying, perchance?

At any rate, as was shown in the other thread and now this thread due to your irrational hard-on for me, the vast majority of people will not use olive oil to deep fry in.
Actually I didn't say McDonalds at all and exactly why my followup was on BK's site. Nice lie..

Olive oil smokes at 410 degrees, it takes 375 to make french fries. Those sites can easily be talking about virgin olive oil that has mixtures of other oils in it and does have a much lower smoke point.

Edit: Fine I'll stick to just pointing out your lies in this thread from here out. Oh and stop saying I made a fool of myself, thats not going to get you a free victory.

Also those sites are no authority on how to cook with olive oil. If you or those sites do not understand how thats fine, I and many other people know how and it does last more then 1 time if you get the right grade of oil. But since you are in your own world and only belive what your corporate masters tell you, you will never know how good fried chips in olive oil can be.

Really? OK, point out one "lie" I have told in this, or the other thread... Wait, if there was one you would have fell all over yourself to prove it.

And just who are my "corporate masters?" I mean, if you're going to try and insult me like that with mindless catch phrases, I'd at least like to know who they are.

As for the olive oil issue... well... now you're just being pathetic.
You lied about me saying McDonalds topping was fake and that I changed to BK when I didn't say McD's at all

Your corporate masters are McDonalds and other fast food places.

It's not pathetic to prove you wrong about deep frying with olive oil. So you don't know how to do it.. it's not a bad thing.. but don't reference a bunch of sites that know nothing about it.

You implied McDonald's by responding to a conversation that had McDonald's as it's primary focus. Not only that, but you responded to a post about hamburgers being largely equal in health with a totally out of left field comment about artificially flavored strawberry topping.

Really? How are they my masters? Please explain, in detail, just how it is I'm beholden to them, or any other fast food chain? Where have I claimed fast food, or any food for that matter is "good for you?"

Do you deny there is an irrational hatred of fast food chains, while other obviously more harmful foods are celebrated with nary a mention of how damaging they are?

Olive oil is not commonly used as a deep frying oil because it's smoke point is too low making it unable to be reused and it is far too expensive. That's a fact. I have backed this up with independent references. I have a sneaky suspicion you have/had no idea what deep frying really is, or means.
