This week at BB B&M it's on sale for $29.99-$10 MIR.

If you do not have a firewall get this one - it's very easy to set up.

This is actually a government plot to weed out suspected Al-Qaeda anandtech members. Readers interested in hot goat a$$ are clearly extremists, and will have their wherabouts summarily traced.

This is a great little router, but you really need to update the firmware to version 2.0

DI-604 version 2.0

It will fix a download speed problem. Let me put it this way, before I upgraded, by downloads topped out around 500k bits per second, after the firmware upgrade, I have gotten speeds up to 3500 Kpbs! (Cable modem in a new neighborhood... yum!)

I was lucky enough to get an open box one of these (since they jacked the price up it'll be $25 after the rebate) and I had to call tech support for help, simply because the manual does not have the proper instructions to reset it back to default specs. So for anyone else having problems w/reset, hold the button down for THIRTY seconds, NOT FIVE like they tell you in the manual/online. Since then it's been a snap to set up.

Shouldn't need to install anything from the cd. Hook it up, type in the IP listed, and it'll bring up the router configuration screen(s) using a web interface through your own browser. To install the firware, log in as admin, click the tools tab, clik the firmware button, click browse, and locate the bin file you downloaded and unzipped. Router will update itself and reboot (took mine about 3 minutes to do this) and yer done!
