Hot deals, why so many late, expired, deals

I check hot deals couple of times a day.
A couple of things seem really deceptive about this forum.

1. Often a very old expired post REappears on the 1st or 2nd page. At first glance you think it?s a new post, but it never is, just old crap recycled. Why are old posts being pushed to the top of the list of current postings as if its new.

Tonight it was the Cannon Rebel XP. Old, dead, deal, why move it up to the 2nd page when the addition to this old post is some minor delivery issue.

Another was KDS 19", old, expired, dead deal, why show it on page 3.

2. The other issue is the posting of hot deals that include coupons that have already expired or aren?t valid and the hot deal is really only warm if not cold. Some of this going on.

I still like this site a lot but the hot deal forum has really gone down hill in my opinion.

If a member posts a reply to a thread, it is not filtered, just added to the thread. Doing this "bumps" or moves the thread to the top of the forum. Therefore, as you already know, a thread could be the first thread in the forum, yet be weeks/months old.

This pretty much happens at every forum I have ever been to. Since you check out the hot deals forum a couple times a day, I will assume you venture over to fat wallat as well where they list how old the thread is. This is not the case here, though there might be a way to change how you view the threads. I can't remember and I checked under the options in the profile section with no luck.
