When I used to hang out in that 'hood a lot (when I was lurking mostly), they used to get a bad rep. The whole coupon code thing was kind of a black mark, and it gave the mods a bad name over there, but they were just doin' they're job. That gang over in the HD 'hood are good at what they do, but they're ruthless and will stop at nothing to get what they want.

Plus, there are sh!tloads of trolls who can't figure out how to post in the ~IWANNA~ thread.

you can not generalize all of them, i check the HD about once a day for a good buy at our B&M stores or maybe a buy.com special, but i must say sometimes they do go overboard.

well, it is true that the people have learned that buying up the entire inventory of a certain cheap product will not get you anything. i am glad that Hot Deals has matured from the days when there was a rampant defrauding of companies. i am glad for some of the decent deals on many items, not just Hardware computer stuff.

* You've got to be QUICK to get in on a really HOT deal. Or the E-bayers will exhaust stock.
* You think you're being nice by posting a possible HOT deal? There's AT LEAST 5 hacks out there who get no more joy other than to respond to your Thread about how they got a better deal on a better product a week ago.
* Don't even bother trying to find coupons.
* Your head WILL be bit off if you deal is mediocre.
