I was in desperate need of some new cookware. Calphalon sets are VERY expensive though, especially the Commercial lines. So I put together my own set which came out to at least 50% less than any comparable set in the market. It was a pain in the ass though, and I spent the better part of the day putting it together. The $25 off $125 and $30 CC signup bonus are not combinable, hence TWO seperate orders (shipped to seperate addresses). I normally don't sign up for CC just for a few bucks off, but in this case $30 was way too tempting =P. I combined Friday only sales w/coupon and bonus = hot deal on killer cookware.

First order:

Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 8-1/2-Quart Saucier with Lid
$180 value for $29.99 (Friday only Sale)

Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Lid
$168 value for $29.99

Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 7-Quart Chef's Casserole with Lid
$128 value for $29.99 (Friday only Sale)

Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 2-1/2-Quart Shallow Saucepan with Lid
$119 value for $19.99

Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 9-Inch, 2-Quart Chef's Skillet with Lid
$85 value for $19.99

Total = $104.95 ($129.95 - $25 off $125 promo)

Second order:

Calphalon Commercial Nonstick 10-Inch International Griddle/Crepe Pan
$85 value for $17.95 (Friday only Sale)

Pyrex 180-Degree Rotary Head Digital Instant-Read Thermometer
$25 value for $9.99

Total = FREE ($27.94 - $30 off Amazon credit card promo)

$790 value for $104.95 (86% total savings off retail) for an 11 piece self assembled Calphalon set w/bonus digtal thermometer.

Was this direct? I've seen some of the Calphalon stuff at the store back when I looked for Stainless Steel pans. Not bad stuff at all.

I usually make Spaghetti Sauce(homemade) 10 qts at a time with meatballs and sausage as well.

Not trying to crap as these pieces are all good for the money, but don't get caught up in those "$xxx value" prices that amazon lists, they're pretty much arbitrarily made up. With the exception of the "Friday only", stuff which is $5-$10 off, those are the normal prices that these pieces go for.
