Since we're not supposed to reply to anything in the Hot Deals forums,I think the "Reply" button should be removed. It is confusing, the way that it is now.

Check your premise? I am not sure to what you're referring.

Unless you mean in this thread? If replies were disabled how could new IWANNAs be entered in?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the forum's premise.Maybe it isok to post replies in Hot Deals, and I just don't understand how it works.here's a paste:

Post the hottest prices and deals you've found on the net in the AnandTech Hot Deals forum. Please stick to deals you've found, not items you are seeking. This is NOT a shopping service. No dealers and no SPAM (IE: muli-level marketing, pay-to-surf, pay-for-referral schemes or links to auctions) allowed! Please DO NOT POST COUPON NUMBERS or PROMOTIONAL CODES.

You are allowed to reply in threads that have been created and contain a hot deal. Ask a question, or thank the poster if you found the post helpful, or post a lower price if you can find one.

If you find something that you think is a good deal then start a thread on it (making sure to use the search feature to insure that the deal has not been posted recently/before). Others will reply and flame you for being a newbie and telling you that the deal sucks and you'll be so depressed that you go and sit in the corner for 3 days straight. At least that's what I did.

You are not supposed to just create a random thread about whatever. That's what the Off Topic forum is for.

Follow the forum for a couple days, you'll get the hang of it. Most of us don't leave teeth marks when we bite.
